The village of Pangbourne in Berkshire, has been the meeting place for Masonic Lodges since 1922 and the current Masonic Temple in Shooters Hill is currently home to three Craft Lodges.

Along with all other Masonic Lodges we help to contribute over £33 million a year as the largest charitable givers in the United Kingdom apart from the National Lottery. We help to raise these funds mainly through voluntary donations within our membership.

Closer to home, we engage with the local community and help as much as we can on supporting local projects.

Becoming a Freemason is like going on a journey: from joining as an Entered Apprentice, it typically takes one or two years to become a Master Mason, with each of the three stages marked by a special ceremony.
